Cassandra Cartwright, CMHC Intern

(she/they)

Welcome! As a master’s-level counseling intern from Antioch University New England, I offer a space where warmth, curiosity, and kindness can help you explore what’s happening in your life and connect with what matters most to you. People come to counseling for many reasons; some seek deeper self-understanding, others want to build practical tools for daily life, and many arrive unsure of where to begin. I’ll listen with care and humility, adapting our work to your needs.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on training in Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and foundational DBT and ACT skills. I have experience supporting people navigating anxiety, self-doubt, challenging life transitions, chronic stress, and trauma-including neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ communities. To support you with both care and competence, I stay committed to curiosity and continuous learning.

Humor, playfulness, and joy can be powerful forces for connection and healing; I believe that therapy can be a space where all three are welcome.
However you arrive, we’ll find your pace and work together in a way that feels safe and meaningful to you.
