Heather Janules, CMHC Intern

(she/her/hers)

Every one of us navigates questions of “intimacy and ultimacy” in our lives. My approach to counseling is grounded in matters of “intimacy” – such as self-esteem, identity, boundaries and interpersonal connections – and “ultimacy” – values, meaning and purpose. Healing from past trauma or difficult losses are often elements in this exploration.

I strive to facilitate a counseling relationship where the process is driven by a client’s own curiosity and strength. Together we consider new ways to understand, to cultivate resilience, to respond, to learn and to grow towards greater wellbeing and health.
