
Jamie Love is a candidate for licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and practices at Counseling Associates’ Upper Valley and New London offices. Her therapeutic approach integrates a wide range of modalities, including HeartMath, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), art and play based approaches, nature-based therapy, strengths-based approaches, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). This integrative style allows her to provide a personalized and holistic path to well-being for each client.
Jamie is a certified Somatic Stress Release Practitioner, a trauma-informed 500-hour Registered Polyvagal Applied Yoga Teacher, and a HeartMath Certified Practitioner. She is also currently training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a dyadic, trauma-informed model that supports young children and their caregivers. She specializes in working with children and their families, creating a supportive environment that fosters connection, growth, and emotional resilience.
She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Jamie is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges through honest self-reflection, empowering them to discover their strengths and build lasting resilience. Her compassionate, collaborative approach supports clients in embracing their innate capacity for growth.
