Harm reduction is an approach aimed at reducing the risks and harmful effects associated with substance use and addictive behaviors.
It is a realistic, humane, and successful approach that creates change without judgement and meets people where they are at. Abstinence may not be a realistic or desirable goal for some people and the focus is placed on reducing harm while use continues.
The point of Harm Reduction group therapy is to find your way of improving your relationship to substances – not to be judge for your actions.
