Amy Crafts, CMHC Intern

(she/her/hers)

Amy’s passions are helping people to interrupt and reframe the ways that they think that are not serving them well, and to retell their stories in ways that are affirming, supportive, and adaptive. She has a background in Mindfulness Meditation and utilizes Mindfulness-Based strategies to help people become aware of the ways that they are thinking and feeling so that they can change them for the better.

Amy also has an interest in treating people who have experienced trauma, domestic and sexual abuse, as well as serious mental illness. In Amy’s practice, the client and her/his/their concerns lead where they go in a session; She meets people where they are and helps them to access and come from their strengths and what is already working well for them. She believes that people know what is best for themselves, and it is her job to help people access that wisdom that comes from within.
