Anita Black, LICSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings a warm, culturally-sensitive, and relational approach to her work. With a deep commitment to holistic healing and emotional wellbeing, Anita integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities to support her clients in navigating life’s challenges and fostering growth. Her integrative practice includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Play Therapy, and a range of experiential and somatic approaches.
Anita is a registered yoga teacher and long-time practitioner, and she thoughtfully incorporates yogic tools and breath work techniques to support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and embodied presence. Her background in mindfulness and somatic work further enhances her ability to support clients in reconnecting with their inner resilience and wisdom.
Grounded in collaboration, respect, and curiosity, Anita’s therapeutic style is eclectic and client-centered. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals build deeper relationships with themselves and others through practices that foster connection, restoration, and thriving. Whether working with adults, children, or families, she offers a compassionate space where healing can unfold organically.
Outside of her clinical work, Anita finds joy and grounding in nature, where she recharges and reconnects with what she most values: presence, peace, and the interconnectedness of all beings.
