
Anna B.T. West, LCMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with 19 years of post-graduate experience working with adults. The therapeutic approaches that inform Anna’s work include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD (PE for PTSD), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD (ERP).
Anna was trained in Behavioral Activation for Depression by Jonathan Kanter, Director of The Center for the Science of Social Connection at the University of Washington. Anna was trained in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD by the Veterans Affairs and Center for Deployments Psychology and the Emory University Prolonged Exposure Consultant Training Program.
Anna has a graduate degree from Lesley University in Expressive Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Outside of the office, Anna enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors running and cross country skiing. Anna also enjoys photography and attending and volunteering for the incredible performing arts organizations in the Upper Valley.
