Annie Dintino-Cucchi, PsyD Practicum Student

(she/her/hers)

My professional focus and area of developing expertise is in the field of infant mental health which includes therapy support for prenatal distress, postnatal distress, relational distress amongst caregivers, history of trauma in childhood and for those looking to better understand the origins of their relational patterns. I am rostered in child-parent psychotherapy which is a therapy designed for caregivers and their children to support needs in families especially when life challenge sare present. I am currently working towards rostering in perinatal child-parent psychotherapy which is a therapy that focuses on supporting a birthing person from conception through the first year of the child’s life.

My working style includes focusing on relationship and relational patterns, discovering the origins of relational patterns and using presence-based intervention to create new and desired patterns in self to self interaction as well as self to other interaction. I consider myself a co-traveler with the people I work with and center them as the experts on their experience.
