Basel Zayed, PsyD Doctoral Intern

Basel is a doctoral intern in clinical psychology with a focus on working with adults, both individuals and couples, navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. His clinical approach is grounded in psychodynamic and Jungian theory, while integrating mindfulness and evidence-based practices to support long-term healing and self-integration.

Basel’s work is deeply informed by a multicultural perspective, drawing from international experience and a commitment to culturally responsive care. He strives to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative, compassionate, and reflective—where clients can explore their inner worlds, navigate life transitions, and develop greater emotional clarity and resilience. Basel is particularly interested in how identity, unconscious patterns, and symbolic experiences shape our emotional lives and relationships.
