Betsy Harrison, LCMHC, Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator

Founding Partner (she/her/hers)

Betsy’s clinical work centers on supporting individuals who are seeking meaningful change — helping them reconnect with their values, strengthen their voice, and enhance overall wellness in their lives. As a Daring Way™ Trained Facilitator, Betsy integrates evidence-based approaches that foster courage, self-compassion, and authentic connection.

A significant focus of Betsy’s practice is working with medical providers, medical students, and others in the helping professions who are navigating the unique demands of their professional and personal lives. She is deeply committed to burnout prevention and to helping caregivers sustain fulfilling, values-driven careers while living rich, meaningful lives. Betsy brings this focus to both her work as therapist and as supervisor.

Betsy serves as the Director of Clinical Services for Geisel Counseling, an innovative program dedicated to increasing access to mental health services and reducing barriers to care for medical students. In this leadership role, she is passionate about building systems of support that promote resilience, connection, and professional sustainability.

Betsy is certified as an Integrative Health Coach through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She partners with individuals seeking movement toward their wellness goals across the Core Areas of Health: resiliency, relationships, movement, nutrition, sleep, spirituality, and environment.

With over 25 years of clinical experience in community mental health and private practice settings, Betsy has worked with both adults and children. A graduate of Kearsarge Regional High School, she grew up in the local community and maintains a deep commitment to the Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee region. This long-standing dedication led her to co-found Counseling Associates with Dr. Borchert. Betsy highly values collaboration and is committed to providing accessible, high-quality, coordinated care within the community.
