Ivy Billard, CMHC Intern

Ivy is practicum student studying at Colorado Christian University. She is pursuing my master’s in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling, with a strong foundation in psychology. Ivy’s academic journey reflects her genuine interest in connecting with people of all ages. She is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where clients can express themselves freely, knowing they will be met with empathy and attentive listening.

Ivy firmly believes in a collaborative approach with each client, respecting their autonomy, establishing clear goals, enhancing self-awareness, fostering healthy coping skills, and nurturing self-efficacy. She believes in using a Cognitive-Behavioral approach with a Person-Centered approach. While incorporating Solution-focused therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy, creating an environment cultivates growth and builds a foundation of success, connection, healing, and change.
