Kat Cowan, CMHC Intern

(she/her/hers)

Kat is a practicum student pursuing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Plymouth State University. She is here to support clients navigating the ups and downs of life by offering a safe space to build trust and discuss openly without the fear of judgment. Together, we can embrace the uncertainty of change and work towards building a future that aligns with your goals.

A few areas of interest are anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, sports performance, and relationship issues. Kat is looking to utilize theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based therapy, and narrative therapy. Her goal is to continue to learn about new theories that are best suited to help her clients
